Strategy of Jordan Atomic Energy Commission
The strategy of the Commission includes the establishment of nuclear reactors and the utilization of Jordanian uranium to provide alternative energy sources and water, through the implementation of the Jordanian nuclear program for peaceful purposes, which is reflected in the following main areas
Exploiting and utilizing the natural nuclear resources available in Jordan, primarily uranium.
Establishing a nuclear power plant for electricity generation or seawater desalination using nuclear reactors.
Building and developing the necessary Jordanian human resources and capacities to implement the Jordanian nuclear program.
.Strengthening the infrastructure for nuclear science and its applications in education, scientific research, and community service
.Enhancing cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and with friendly countries experienced in nuclear energy
